We are accessible to things to do at ocean and bay beaches, public parks including Barnegat Light State Park, and a dog park.

Historic Barnegat Light

Barnegat Light was first deeded by the English Crown in 1692, and for hundreds of years, the Borough has grown as a commercial fishing village and a center of recreation and tourism. With its charming and low-key vibe, Barnegat Light stands as a beacon of rest on the Jersey Shore.

The second tallest lighthouse in the United States, it is 172-feet tall and has 217 steps. It was designed by General George Meade and was commissioned January 1, 1859. On January 1, 2009, the beam was re-lit after being in the dark since 1944.
